Realization of a Circular Economy*

Realization of a Circular Economy*

We are considering a circular economy business model that involves collecting industrial and general waste from our industrial parks and surrounding areas. By ensuring the proper disposal of waste generated across the industrial parks and promoting waste-to-energy projects, we aim to reduce CO2 emissions.

Transition to Environmentally Friendly Fuels

Transition to Environmentally Friendly Fuels

In the GIIC in Indonesia, we supply natural gas to tenant companies through the state-owned gas supply company.
In Vietnam, we began the first foreign-owned natural gas supply business in the Long Duc Industrial Park in 2014, and have since expanded to other industrial parks, including the PHU MY 3 Industrial Park

Effective Utilization of Renewable Energy*

Effective Utilization of Renewable Energy*

By integrating energy management systems with rooftop solar projects and storage batteries, we aim to maximize the installation area of rooftop solar panels and effectively utilize surplus electricity within the region.
In the future, we plan to install large-scale storage batteries within the industrial parks, creating a system that can charge and discharge surplus electricity. This will promote the local production and consumption of renewable energy, contributing to the overall reduction and elimination of carbon emissions in the industrial parks.

Procurement of Renewable Energy-Derived Electricity*

Procurement of Renewable Energy-Derived Electricity*

In Vietnam, we aim to increase the proportion of renewable energy across the entire industrial park by utilizing the Direct Power Purchase Agreement (DPPA) system to procure electricity from renewable energy power plants located outside the industrial park.

In Indonesia, we are conducting a feasibility study (FS) under the theme of "Decarbonization Survey in Urban Development and Industrial Parks in the Republic of Indonesia," which has supervised by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry. As part of this initiative, we are considering the development of services to supply renewable energy by constructing large-scale renewable energy power plants for tenant companies in GIIC.

Introduction of EVs to Reduce Environmental Impact

Introduction of EVs to Reduce Environmental Impact

In certain residential and commercial areas within Kota Deltamas*, we have introduced EV bikes for use by management and security staff since August 2022.
In the Long Duc Industrial Park, we have installed EV charging facilities in some parking areas, aiming to enhance the cleanliness and smartness of the industrial park.

*Note: Kota Deltamas is the urban development area where the GIIC is located. In addition to the industrial park, it hosts a variety of commercial tenants, including one of the largest AEON Malls in ASEAN, as well as service apartments, schools, and more.

Implementation of Rooftop Solar Power Generation

Implementation of Rooftop Solar Power Generation

In 2021, we established a rooftop solar business company in Vietnam, followed by another in Indonesia in 2023. We provide services to install and operate rooftop solar panels on the factory buildings of tenant companies.
In the future, we plan to sequentially add solutions such as the installation of storage batteries and the introduction of other renewable energy sources. We aim to promote carbon neutrality and provide comprehensive energy solution services both within and outside industrial parks.

Provision of Energy-Saving Solutions for Tenant Companies*

Provision of Energy-Saving Solutions for Tenant Companies*

To support tenant companies in their efforts to reduce carbon emissions, we offer solutions such as the installation of energy-efficient air conditioning, lighting, and boilers within factories, as well as support for visualizing CO2 emissions. Our goal is to improve energy efficiency across the entire industrial park.
In the Long Duc Industrial Park in Vietnam, we have introduced smart meters to visualize real-time data. These meters are integrated with external systems such as CEM and control systems, and are utilized as a unified data platform.

Purchase of Environmental Certificates

Purchase of Environmental Certificates

In the Long Duc Industrial Park, we achieved virtually 100% renewable energy consumption for the operating company's electricity usage in the fiscal year 2024 by obtaining International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-REC).
In the GIIC, we have also been obtaining I-REC since 2021, achieving carbon neutrality for the electricity used in public areas.
